Natixis has been a steadfast partner to Ellis for over 10 years, providing leadership, dedicated volunteers, and generous philanthropic support that have impacted a generation of Ellis children.
Natixis’s partnership model is unique in its comprehensive, employee-driven approach. A dedicated team of Natixis employees collaborates with Ellis to develop and implement an annual plan that includes multiple days of service, including a friendship celebration in February, an Earth Day festival, and a Superhero Parade in October. Charitable giving is a vital part of the culture at Natixis, and the organization, as well as many of its employees, are generous investors in Ellis’s children.
Many Natixis employees have chosen Ellis for their children’s childcare and developed deep relationships with Ellis. Coleen Downs Dineen, Retired EVP and General Counsel - US Distribution, Chairs Ellis’s Board of Directors and has provided steadfast leadership through Ellis’s executive transition and strategic planning process. Coleen reflects on her years of service: “My introduction to Ellis came more than 15 years ago when I organized Natixis’s holiday gift drive and we were matched with Ellis. Seeing the joy on the kids’ faces and getting the hugs from them was all it took to make me an Ellis fan for life! I led other employee volunteer activities including what became an annual tradition – the Halloween costume parade in the neighborhood. I retired from Natixis about 3 years ago and that’s one of the things I miss most!”
