Meet the Team

​

Christy Bortolotto, Network Director, brings over 20 years of experience as a Family Child Care educator in Boston. A proud Boston College alumna and current graduate student in Executive Leadership, Christy is also a dedicated community volunteer and VP of the Westzone Family Child Care Network. She lives in Boston with her husband and two college-aged children.

 

Glo Valentin, FCC Success Partner, has over 25 years of experience as an FCC educator in Hyde Park. She is the founder of the BIPOC Family Child Care Collective and board president of the Greater Boston Early Educators Network. Glo is a passionate advocate for equity in early education and is currently pursuing her degree at UMass Boston.

Joy James, Early Relational Health Partner, brings over seven years of experience in early childhood development and family support through her work in Early Intervention. She holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Therapy with a minor in Psychology from Berklee College of Music. Joy has worked closely with children birth to three and their families, helping them navigate developmental services, school transitions, community resources, and family-centered supports. She is passionate about building strong relationships and community with families and educators and strongly believes in creating warm, inclusive environments where children can thrive.
